End-of-Life Preparation

No matter your age, health or income, end-of-life planning is for you. Thinking about how you want to die and how you want to be remembered after you die helps you to be more intentional about living. And then putting your wishes on paper so that they are known and legal?

That is powerful self-care.

End-of-Life Planning with Me Includes*:

  • My work begins by listening. I want to know who and what you love, how you want to be remembered and why you wake up in the morning. Once we know your values, then we can plan for not only your death but the rest of your life.

  • I will guide you through a standard advance directive to share with your medical providers plus documents showing your wishes for comfort care, provisions for dementia and who will be in charge of your body after you die.

  • Do you know what documents your next-of-kin will need in order to take care of your affairs after you die? I’ll provide a thorough checklist and a system you can follow to streamline this complex task.

  • This is the fancy death industry term for what happens to a body after death. We will talk about your options (cremation, alkaline hydrolysis, traditional burial, green burial, natural reduction), funeral homes and what you can do now to prepare.

  • How do you want your community to honor you after you die? We’ll discuss home funerals, memorials and what kind of rituals might be important to you.

  • $75 an hour (includes physical and virtual copies of your preparation documents)

    Sliding scale available

  • Want to do this deathcare with family, friends, your work team, etc? Yes! Contact me for availability and group pricing.
