A Thoughtful Death offers trauma-informed, culturally celebratory deathcare to people at all stages of life. No matter what community you come from or where you are on your death and grief journey, it is an honor to serve you.

    Before Death

Most Americans report that they do not want to die in a hospital, but many do, in part because they didn't share what their preferences were. I help clients begin the process of thoughtful deathcare through end-of-life planning and death advocacy education.

    During Death

I provide practical, hands-on care coordination so that loved ones can spend more time together during a dying process instead of being distracted by day-to-day chores. Additionally, I am available to facilitate final conversations and home funerals.

    After Death

Our need for care doesn't end once someone has died. I can assist after a recent death with planning services, writing obituaries and eulogies and offering gentle presence. As part of my deathcare, I also help clients develop grief rituals and mark loss anniversaries.
