The saying goes, “If you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.” But what does “ready” mean in the context of living and dying? You might know that it would be responsible to somehow get your affairs in order in case you die, but how do you actually do that?
Stay Ready: A Community End-of-Life Planning Space is for you! This casual, monthly virtual drop-in space will help educate and empower you to make more thoughtful choices about how you live now - which will inform how you one day will die. In this learner’s series, you will be guided through the practical and relational components of thorough end-of-planning including advance directives, final disposition options, hospice, how to choose a funeral home, Medical-Aid-In-Dying - and much more! You will walk away with an electronic copy of the detailed End-of-Life Planning workbook that Neshia uses with her clients, knowledge of how to begin tough end-of-life conversations and tools to face death - and life - with greater courage, hope and authenticity.
Bring your people and your questions! Stay Ready will be customized to fit the needs of whoever is logging on that month so each time will be different.
This workshop is great for: people who have been wanting to do end-of-life planning but have felt intimidated doing it alone or one-on-one; folx who enjoy learning from other people’s questions and experiences; planners; folks who enjoy laughing; anyone who will die one day! That’s all of us ; )
